Club de Golf Villamartín - Alicante
Villamartín Golf opened its doors in 1972, designed by architect Robert Dean Putman (or Paul Putman, according to some sources). Located in Orihuela Costa, Alicante, near the Mediterranean coast and with a mild climate almost all year round, it is one of the classic courses on the Costa Blanca.
It has been the venue for professional tournaments and has welcomed renowned players such as Severiano Ballesteros and José María Olazábal.

A Costa Blanca classic that combines history, sea views and a comprehensive design. With 18 holes, par 72 and a length of around 6,132 metres from the white tees, it offers a varied challenge with holes that are all very different from each other.
The 17th hole is iconic: a demanding par 3 that requires players to cross a ravine between pine trees to reach a generous green. The views from the first few holes are spectacular, especially towards the Mediterranean Sea, while the back nine descends between ravines and more technical areas.
Its mature vegetation, with pine and olive trees, well-maintained greens and the recent renovation of the clubhouse with a panoramic terrace overlooking the 18th hole add to its character. It is ideal for those who want to enjoy a course with history, good infrastructure and a Mediterranean setting, without straying too far from the coast.
