Atalaya Golf & Country Club is situated in Estepona, Málaga, between Marbella and Estepona, and is one of the Costa del Sol’s historic clubs.
Founded in 1968, it boasts 36 holes spread across two 18-hole courses: the Old Course, designed by Bernhard von Limburger and a par 72, and the New Course, designed by Paul Krings and a par 71. Both offer distinct experiences, ranging from the classic, well-established layout of the Old Course to the more natural, undulating character of the New Course.
One of the most historic clubs on the Costa del Sol, situated between Marbella and Estepona and comprising two 18-hole courses with very different characters. The Old Course, designed by Bernhard von Limburger, offers an elegant, classic-style par-72 layout, with wide, undulating fairways, numerous bunkers and lush vegetation of olive trees, pines and eucalyptus trees that accompany the player throughout the round.
The New Course, designed by Paul Krings and a par 71, winds its way into the hills and offers a shorter, more technical layout, with changes in elevation, undulating fairways and magnificent views of the Mediterranean and Gibraltar.
Two distinct courses within the same club, offering a varied golfing experience that combines tradition, strategy and the characteristic landscape of the Costa del Sol.
