El Paraíso Golf Club - Málaga
El Paraíso Golf Club is situated in Estepona, Málaga, in the well-known Valle del Paraíso, between La Concha mountain and the Mediterranean Sea. Opened in 1973, the course was designed by Gary Player in collaboration with Ron Kirby and features 18 holes, a par of 71 and a length of 6,131 metres from the white tees.
The layout makes the most of the natural slope of the land towards the sea, combining wide fairways, mature vegetation, lakes and small watercourses that add strategic difficulty.
A Costa del Sol classic designed by Gary Player and situated in a picturesque valley between La Concha and the Mediterranean. Its 18-hole, par-71 course blends seamlessly into a landscape of gentle slopes, with generous fairways flanked by palm trees and lush vegetation, allowing players to enjoy the game without compromising on the challenge.
Strategically placed lakes, streams, bunkers and rough force you to think carefully about every shot and penalise any lack of precision, whilst the variety of the holes keeps the round interesting from start to finish. The central section of the course is particularly attractive, where large trees and water hazards create some of its most distinctive features.
A balanced, strategic and very enjoyable course to play, ideal for discovering one of Gary Player’s historic designs on the Costa del Sol.
