La Hacienda Links Golf Resort - Links Course - Cádiz
The Hacienda Links Golf Resort is situated in La Alcaidesa, San Roque (Cádiz), very close to Sotogrande and right on the Mediterranean coast. Its Links Course was originally designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, opened in 1992 and underwent a major refurbishment in 2021 under the guidance of the American architect Kurtis Bowman, who redesigned the tees, greens, bunkers and several holes.
It is an 18-hole, par-72 course, characterised by its proximity to the sea, its natural dunes and extraordinary views of Gibraltar, the Mediterranean and the African coast.
A spectacular course running alongside the Mediterranean, offering one of the most unique golfing experiences in southern Spain. Its 18-hole, par-72 course slopes gently down towards the sea, with numerous holes situated very close to the coast and magnificent views of Gibraltar and Africa on clear days.
The natural dunes, strategically placed bunkers and the constant influence of the wind lend the course its authentic links character, making shot selection and strategy essential. Redesigned by Kurtis Bowman based on the original layout by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, the course combines large green complexes with a modern design that blends seamlessly into the coastal landscape.
A unique, challenging and visually spectacular course, where golf is played practically right by the sea.
