Plaza de las Flores
Murcia’s classic tapas zone in the historic centre — especially lively on weekends. If you want to eat like a local, try: marinera, matrimonio, michirones, caballitos, and finish with paparajotes. Popular spots include El Pasaje de Zabalburu, La Tapa and Bar Gran Rhin.
Roman Theatre of Cartagena
The most visited monument in the Region of Murcia and one of Spain’s best-preserved Roman theatres. Built between 5 and 1 BC (Augustus era), it was discovered in 1988 after centuries hidden beneath later buildings.
